I find breathtaking beauty in the slow, transformative power of decay.  This series of experiments focused on creating patinas on copper, brass, and phosphor bronze using only natural ingredients.  The subtle shifts in color and texture, achieved simply by adjusting application and time, unveiled a landscape of unexpected beauty inherent in each metal.  This process has yielded a rich "surface library" informing my future metalwork.
